Hi,
I'm just receiving this error message when accessing any of my SQL Databases:
This SQL database has been disabled. Please reach out to your Fabric Capacity administrator for more information.
I'm the admin, no matter the options I change the error still there.
any idea?
why my SQL databases has been disabled? and how to enable them again?
Solved! Go to Solution.
I opened a support ticket.
it's a known issue.
when you pause a capacity this disabled the SQL Databases, opening a ticket is the only option to enable them back. (for now)
pausing a capacity has multiple issues, mirrored cosmosdb databases is also impacted, you have to stop and restart the mirror after a pause of a capacity.

Hi @Jerome22 ,
Thanks for your response. Do you have a source saying it is a known issue?
I'm not seeing this on either of these known issues lists

I don't have it.
during my call to the support team they inform me about this issue.
as it's a preview feature, I think it's not documented yet.
preview features are not officialy supported (so use them at your own risk... 😉 )
@Jerome22 Gotcha- thanks for sharing. Got this error message earlier today and there isn't much out there on it.
Thanks for the update @Jerome22 – that’s super helpful!
So just to summarize for others:
Definitely something to keep in mind when managing capacity!
