Power BI Desktop - No Sort axis in clustered column chart

Hi All,

I would like to sort Y axis, but clicking tree dots the option Sort axis is not present; some one knows how to get Sort axis option working?

Thanks a lot  @Cookistador  and @danextian for your quick and helpful responses.
You both are absolutely right, the issue was due to the X-axis being set to "Continuous", which disables the "Sort axis" option in the visual. After switching it to "Categorical", the sort option became visible and works perfectly now.
Also, thanks for pointing out the importance of checking the visual type, I was using a Clustered Column Chart, and it now behaves as expected.

If anyone else faces the same issue, just keep in mind. Some chart types may default to "Continuous" when using numeric or date fields switching to "Categorical" often restores missing formatting options like sorting.
Let me know if there's anything else to watch out for when using these axis types.

It  isn't currently possible if the X-Axis is set to contiuous.

Which kind of category are you using?  Continous or Categorical?

If you are using continous, you have to switch to categorical to be able to sort your axis

And which visual (name in Power BI) are you using?
