Here are few Troubleshooting Steps : 

• Go to Power BI Service > Paginated Report > Manage > Data Source Credentials
• Update credentials (ensure correct type: Windows, OAuth2, etc.)
• Save and re-test the connection

•  Verify On-Premises Data Gateway (if applicable) :
  • Go to Settings > Manage Gateways
  • Ensure the gateway is:
    • Online
    • Mapped to the correct data source
    • Using valid credentials
•  Test Connection in Report Builder :
  • Open the .rdl file in Report Builder
  • Go to Data Source Properties
  • Test the connection
  • Update the connection string or credentials if needed
• Check Data Source Availability :
  • Ensure the server/database is running and reachable
  • Confirm network/firewall rules are not blocking access
• Check User Permissions :
  • Verify that the user or service account used in the credentials has access to the data source.
